Friends and Family
I have mixed emotions about the arrival of my family in the Cayman Islands this week to visit me. On one hand it’ll be great to spend time with them enjoying all of what Cayman has to offer, but on the other I feel unsure of how things will pan out, living on top of each other for 2 weeks solid. Having left home some 12yrs ago I am now more than able to control the going’s on in my own home. If I want a cup of Tea I’ll make myself one, if I want a Sandwich I’m more than able to butter two slices of bread, if I want a shirt ironed….. well, OK you can do that for me if you want to.
Living on the other side of the pond presents lots of wonderful opportunities both from a work and life perspective. There are draw backs however that need to be accounted for and one of those, in my opinion are Family visits!!
